A while ago, I typed up the timeline of the combined novels and PVs thus far (since these two sources are probably on the way to a good ending, at least partially) for a quick overview. I thought I'd share it just for the heck of it. Also because it took almost three hours. Some things might be in disarray a bit for I wasn't entirely sure whether this or that comes first at certain points, so if you think that I done goofed a lot, please feel free to correct me.
Also, need I even say that this is a total spoiler-fest?
[Basic timeline]
[Route 01] [Result: Summer Time Record][Source: the novels thus far and the PVs; presumably, they’re the closest thing to a canon!Route 01 we currently have.]
[Route BADEND] [Result: Outer Science] [Source: the bad end in the Manga, as well as the Outer Science PV and the Short Manga to Mary’s Fictional World; let’s assume that this happens at least as frequently as the word “next” is sung in Outer Science.]
[Route XX] [Result: LTM/ black Shintarou] [Source: Lost Time Memory’s PV, Jinzou Enemy’s lyrics; there’s a blurry line, but I think that XX is slightly different from the usual bad end]
Also, need I even say that this is a total spoiler-fest?
[Basic timeline]
- Azami is created and roams the world in search for answers as to whom and what she is.
- Azami meets Tsukihiko, he builds a house for her, they get married and have Shion.
- Azami creates the Heat-Haze Daze for her family with the help of her snakes (and creates the 10th snake, the snake of “favouring eyes” while doing that).
- When she’s finished, she realises that Tsukihiko has already died, feels betrayed by humanity and leaves for the Heat-Haze by herself.
- Shion grows up in the house that Tsukihiko built for Azami, gets married sometime (or not) and has Mary.
- Shion tells Mary to never leave the house because Gorgons/Medusae like them will be treated like monsters by humans.
- Mary goes to play outside by herself on the 15th of August and gets beaten to death by other kids. Shion goes to help her and turns the children to stone but dies from the strain that her ability puts on her.
- Azami sets it so that everyone who dies on August 15th will get sucked into the Heat-Haze.
- Azami initially gives her snake of “unifying eyes” to Shion, but she passes it on to Mary. Shion stays behind as the sacrifice.
- Azami loses the ability to control the Heat-Haze (either because she needs all her snakes or because she needs the “unifying” snake to control it).
- Mary gets resurrected with no memories of her own death.
- A lot of time passes. Let’s assume it’s about sixty or seventy years so we’re a few years before the main-plot.
- Kenjirou wants to marry Ayaka and after some time, she gives in, they get wed and have Ayano.
- They start investigating stuff about Gorgons/Medusae.
- Kano briefly meets Ayano at the playground when they’re kids.
- Kano and his mother die on August 15th by the hands of burglars and enter the Heat-Haze.
- Kano gets resurrected, receives the “deceiving eyes” snake and loses the memories of his death. His mother stays behind as the sacrifice.
- Kido’s father sets his family’s house aflame on the 15th of August because his company went bankrupt and Kido and her sister burn to death and enter the Heat-Haze.
- Kido gets resurrected, receives the “concealing eyes” snake and loses the memories of her death. Her sister stays behind as the sacrifice.
- Seto gets bullied a lot and to upset him, his bullies drown the dog that has become his best friend on August 15th. He jumps after it into the river, drowns and enters the Heat-Haze.
- Seto gets resurrected, receives the “stealing eyes” snake and loses the memories of his death. His dog stays behind as the sacrifice.
- Momo and her father go to the ocean on 15th August, drown and enter the Heat-Haze.
- Momo gets resurrected, receives the “attracting eyes” snake and loses the memories of her death. Her dad stays behind as the sacrifice.
- Kido, Kano and Seto get put in an orphanage and then get adopted by the Tateyama household. Together with Ayano, they create the Mekakushi Dan.
- Seto encounters Mary in the forest and becomes friends with her.
- In middle school, Ayano befriends Shintarou.
- Kenjirou and Ayaka die in a landslide on August 15th and enter the Heat-Haze.
- Kenjirou gets resurrected, receives the “clearing eyes” snake and loses the memories of his death. Ayaka stays behind as the sacrifice.
- Kenjirou goes mad (?) and resorts to experimentation to find a way to get Ayaka back.
- Takane and Haruka create the shooting game “Headphone Actor” for their school’s cultural festival. Also, Takane likes Haruka.
- Over the course of the festival, Takane and Haruka meet Kido and Kano as well as Ayano and Shintarou, of whom the latter beats Takane at the game.
- The next school year, Ayano and Shintarou enroll at that same school.
- Ayano discovers files on the experiments Kenjirou has planned to do on Takane and Haruka and decides to investigate it.
- Ayano asks Kano to pretend to be her so she can look further into it to which Kano agrees.
- Takane dies on August 15th because Kenjirou poisoned her and enters the Heat-Haze.
- She gets resurrected into an immortal cyber-body (though her physical one remains in Kenjirou’s hands), receives the “opening eyes” snake and loses the memories of her death and ultimately becomes Ene. Whether there is a sacrifice or not for her is not specified.
- Haruka dies on August 15th because of a stroke and enters the Heat-Haze.
- He get resurrected into his ideal body, receives the “awakening eyes” snake, loses all of his memories due to the strain on his mind and ulitimately becomes Konoha. Whether there is a sacrifice for him is not specified, either.
- Somehow, Kenjirou’s snake embeds in Konoha.
- Ayano commits suicide on the 15th August by jumping off the school’s roof and enters the Heat-Haze.
- Ayano receives the “favouring eyes” snake, yet, she is unable to leave the Heat-Haze for she doesn’t have someone with her to become her sacrifice.
- Kenjirou has Kano join forces with him. (This, however, may take place earlier. I 'unno.)
- Kenjirou forces Kano to take on Ayano’s form, for her body vanished into the Haze and he now has to imitate her in order to have a corpse.
- Kano takes on Ayano’s appearance again in order to tell Shintarou, as a third party, that he could have helped Ayano by noticing things and that it was his fault.
- Shintarou learns about Ayano’s death and, plagued by guilt, he shuts himself away.
- Kido, Kano and Seto move out of the Tateyama’s house and take Mary with them.
- Momo becomes an idol.
- One year later, Shintarou downloads Ene onto his computer.
- Azami meets Tsukihiko, he builds a house for her, they get married and have Shion.

[Route 01] [Result: Summer Time Record][Source: the novels thus far and the PVs; presumably, they’re the closest thing to a canon!Route 01 we currently have.]
- Shintarou somewhat befriends Ene, who, in turn, pulls him along and helps him get back into life.
- Hibiya and Hiyori go to the city during their holidays where they stay at Kenjirou’s place since Ayaka was Hiyori’s big sister. They also meet Konoha there and live under the same roof for some time.
- On the 14th of August, Shintarou wrecks his keyboard because of Ene and has to leave his room for the first time in two years, since it’s Obon and there’s no shipping for a few days.
- Momo runs away from her fans that day and encounters Kido, who, albeit mistakenly, introduces her into the Mekakushi Dan.
- Mary wants to fix tea for everyone and spills it over Momo’s cellphone, which then breaks.
- They decide to head to a hardware store that is open during Obon to buy a new phone.
- Momo briefly sees her brother and freaks out, yet Kido’s concealment hides them all.
- There is a hijacking at the store, but out of the Mekakushi Dan’s group, only Kano gets taken hostage.
- A lot of stuff happens, the terrorists are defeated in the end and Shintarou gets shot by one of them.
- The Dan takes him back to their hideout where they then introduce themselves and both Ene and Shintarou become members as well.
- On the 14th /15th August (not sure where the loop begins and spits them out afterwards), Hibiya and Hiyori get stuck in a time-loop where they have to watch each other die countless times until both of them die and enter the Heat-Haze. Possibly, the loop is part of the Haze already.
- [Konoha sees the loop in his dreams, though he is unable to help the children.]
- Hibiya gets resurrected, receives the “focusing eyes” snake and loses the memories of his death. Hiyori stays behind as the sacrifice.
- The Dan goes to the amusement park.
- On their way back, they see an ambulance pick up an unconscious Hibiya with Konoha by his side and chase after them.
- Hibiya and Konoha become members of the Mekakushi Dan as well and the others teach Hibiya how to use his snake.
- Kano tries tormenting Shintarou by taking on Momo’s appearance, later on Ayano’s as well before running away temporarily.
- Momo tries cheering Hibiya up, they start getting along and head out together.
- Shintarou and Kido break down everything they know thus far the next morning and officially dub the Heat-Haze Daze just that.
- Later on, Kido, Shintarou, Mary and Konoha head out into the forest to Mary’s house where they discover Azami’s diary ith her notes on the snakes (where the “opening”, “favouring” and “awakening” snakes are missing).
- Shintarou gets chased by a bee and falls off a cliff and Konoha jumps after him to catch him, yet Shintarou remains unharmed whereas Konoha falls onto a branch that pierces him.
- Shintarou begs his snake to fix him and it does just that (maybe that actually is the “clearing” snake doing it, though.)
- They go back to the base and Kano comes back and spills the beans about what Ayano had been doing all those years ago and how Kenjirou forced him into working with him. He also reveals the whereabouts of Takane’s body.
- Taka-Ene leaves Shintarou’s phone and gets her own body back.
- [from now on, it’s only guesses based on the PVs or downright speculation]
- Somewhere along the way, Kuroha (who is the “clearing” snake, by the way) actually does break out (probably because of the branch-incident), yet Konoha seems to retain a bit of control and chooses to shoot himself rather than anyone else.
- Shintarou, however, jumps in and gets shot in the process and dies. He enters the Heat-Haze where he encounters Ayano to whom he may or may not tell something important. She then gives him her scarf (which is the symbol of a hero, of course) and (possibly) the snake of “favouring” eyes. Yet, it may also be something along the lines of a new snake that was created that moment. Ayano probably becomes his sacrifice then and disappears, whereas Shintarou may return.
- Shintarou probably pulls a main-character thing, then, and we can guess that either the snakes stop working entirely or return into the Haze, which also results in Konoha’s body reverting into something closer to Haruka’s original appearance.
- Everyone may or may not forget everything, they may or may not be separated, Ayano/ Hiyori may or may not return, Haruka may or may not die, but at last, we get something like a (although currently very ambiguous and foggy) bittersweet happy end.

[Route BADEND] [Result: Outer Science] [Source: the bad end in the Manga, as well as the Outer Science PV and the Short Manga to Mary’s Fictional World; let’s assume that this happens at least as frequently as the word “next” is sung in Outer Science.]
- Shintarou still leaves his room and still befriends Ene.
- The members of the Mekakushi Dan assemble at least partially.
- At some point, Kuroha shows up, whether Konoha joins the Dan previously or not. After all, Mary retains her memory. Well, and Seto knows, too.
- Kuroha also seems to have rendered Azami unable to interfere in any way. (Note that this isn’t the case in LTM.)
- Kuroha kills everyone (also, Kenjirou) but Mary, forcing her to reset the timeline (possibly to the time of her initial death (in Shounen Brave, when Seto find her, it is revealed that he knows everyone would die)), who later thinks that she just had a bad dream.
- Rinse and repeat.

[Route XX] [Result: LTM/ black Shintarou] [Source: Lost Time Memory’s PV, Jinzou Enemy’s lyrics; there’s a blurry line, but I think that XX is slightly different from the usual bad end]
- Shintarou isn’t able to accept Ayano’s death and feels responsible for it.
- Since Ene inhabits his computer, he spends a larger amount of time sleeping than usual. That possibly is to avoid her.
- Ene seems more timid and is an observer more than anything. Her attempts to reach out to Shintarou remain unheard for an entire year. Nonetheless, she worries.
- On the 15th August, he finally has enough of Ene and kills her (however that works) and since he can’t deal with even more guilt, he offs himself.
- Whereas 01!Shintarou is an irregular occurrence, Azami seems to be used to seeing XX!Shintarou in the Haze. This might imply that the XX Route is actually a time loop, not unlike the one in Kagerou Days, where Shintarou is given the chance to stop messing up and actually changing himself for once.
- Most XX will however result in the immediate failure of the timeline.
[An inconsistency in the theory of OS’s BADEND and LTM’s XX being a different thing would, however, be, that in the bridge of Outer Science, you can clearly see the the blue screen that killing Ene in XX results in and also Shintarou’s (grey-clad) legs dangling off the edge of his bed. I’m not too sure myself, but Azami being free just seems so significant that I think it’s not entirely the same.]
