I loved the episode to death. "OBA-SAN" was just perfect, I'm glad that Hibiya and Momo will have their usual relationship because it's perfect. The bits with the phonographs really resonated with me because I completely understand how Momo feels with the voices inside her head making her quite downtrodden and worthless.
I am a little bit annoyed with how slow the anime is moving though. We haven't even covered the Kisaragi Attention chapters in the manga yet, despite having the Jinzou Enemy chapters completed in an episode even though they're even longer. The ED is really nice and sweet. I love how it focuses on Hiyori and then everyone else just joins the picture, it's really sweet!

The way they placed 'Kisaragi Attention' into the episode was simply divine and made it hard to not get carried away in the moment. It was lovely to see them incorporate little bits of the pv in too. The ending theme is lovely and soothing, the flash of Ayano was a nice touch.

I couldn't help but sing along with it, it was just perfect.

Still a little curious as to why they didn't think to include the singable Juby lyrics in the sub, that would have made it even more perfect. But we can't get everything that we want I guess ^^;.

I'm not surprised. Juby's lyrics are different than the literal translation, sadly.. ;___; But even so, I loooved that the song was in the episode.

What I liked: How we saw Momo's past. How we got to see how Momo sees people. THE SONG IN THE EPISODE.
The song in the episode made my day to be honest. I loved how they included it in all do means. I also liked how we got to see Kido at the end of the episode and whatnot. Good call.
What I disliked: THE FACES. What is with the faces in this anime?

Eh, I personally don't like Juby's lyrics a lot (which is probably because I'm used to lyrics rhyming to a certain degree~ ;n; ). Also, they would've had to ask her for permission, and then there's also different groups that sub stuff and I don't think most of them are enough into KagePro as to research popular covers of source material. A~ny~way~ The episode was alright, though I really hate the pace they set for the story. I'm just not sure how they expect to squeeze it all into 11 episodes in total. And people are getting confused, especially those who are getting into the fandom by watching MCA, because the pacing prevents some of the more complex context to be explained right away. But hey. I'll stop being negative. Right after WHAT IS IT, HIBIYA? If SHAFT is doing something right with this, it's mostly how artsy they present us stuff. I really, really loved the way they showed Momo's internal thoughts with those impersonal and abstract placeholders for people [and I wasn't crying, I wasn't crying, shut up]. Though, frankly, I guess I don't like how they added such a stereotypical backstory, with Momo's mom getting hospitalised. It's just so out of place, somehow. And makes Shintarou look like the world's most horrible big brother (TM). But that's a depth that can be expanded, actually~ And Momo's kinda bipolar, isn't she? :< Though basically introducing Hibiya like that (even if it currently is just a bit of foreshadowing) was a good move! Just... don't punch the kid, alright? Oh. And the ending is precious. It's kinda close to being an actual KagePro PV, since Shidu drew it and Lia sung it. It's just super-cute. And there might also be some deeper meaning to it. ... Maybe. ... Ah, I'm sorry.

And there might also be some deeper meaning to it. ... Maybe. ... Ah, I'm sorry. Nonono it's understandable, some people just don't like her lyrics. It's nice to know that it was normal to cry (don't worry I totally didn't cry at the flashback). I think that's one of the rare things that Shaft did quite well, the placeholders gave much more impact than just normal people would have. The Hibiya introduction reminded me a lot of 'Moon Viewing Rehearsal' (like when she had her red eyes to him and everyone noticed her) then again it kept that 'Kisaragi Attention' feel too which was incredibly nice and nostalgic in a way. I can't wait to see all the theories for the themes like for the songs. When the anime first came out I got really excited over 'Daze' since it felt just like one of the PV's and now the ending theme 'Days' is there too. It's nice to see that they included Shidu in somehow especially since their art was one of the things that we all related to the Kagerou Project.
